New Director of Research

We are delighted to announce that Dr Andrew Mein will be joining us in July as our new Director Research, when Professor Nicola Slee steps down from the role. Andrew comes to us from the School of Divinity at the University of St. Andrews, bringing a long and strong track-record of scholarship, publication and supporting others to research and write. A biblical scholar, with specialist knowledge in the study of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, Andrew also brings extensive experience of living and working outside the UK (in India and Germany), which will stand him in good stead as he takes on the role of directing our Centre for Research and Global Partnerships. We are delighted too that Nicola will remain on the staff on a part-time basis both to continue supervising a number of doctoral students and, initially, to support Andrew as he steps into what will be a challenging role.
