Information for external users

Visitors are welcome to use the library. No charge is made for a one-off visit. Please contact the librarian to arrange an appointment.

Library membership

For those wishing to use the library on a regular basis, library membership with reference-only rights is available at a cost of £20 per year (those in ordained or authorised lay ministry in a CTBI-member church living or working in the region are eligible for a discounted rate of £5 per year). Please contact the librarian to arrange a time to register.

Those in ordained or authorised lay ministry in a CTBI-member church living or working in the region are also eligible for membership with borrowing rights at a cost of £20 per year (or £50 for three years). Please contact the librarian to arrange a time to register.

Those in authorised ministry in a non-CTBI-member church or in church-related employment in the region may also be eligible for membership with borrowing rights. Please contact the librarian in the first instance.

Staff and students of the following institutions are invited to contact the librarian about their entitlements: Newman University, University of Birmingham, Cliff College.

Membership with borrowing rights includes a loan entitlement of 6 Standard Loan books for 4 weeks with up to 2 renewals.
