The 2017 Lecture - Alison Milbank
The 2017 Queen's Foundation Lecture is given by Revd Dr Alison Milbank, University of Nottingham, on Monday 8th May 2017 at St John's Church Harbourne, Birmingham.
The title of the lecture is: 'The Anglican Mission to Place: Reimagining the Parish for the Twenty First Century'.
Alison Milbank is a British literary scholar specialising in religion and culture, and an Anglican priest. She is associate professor at the University of Nottingham in the theology and religious studies department. Among many publications, she co-authored (with Andrew Davison) For the Parish: A Critique of Fresh Expressions (SCM, 2013); her next monograph is on the relation between theology and Gothic fiction.
