The 2019 Lecture - Stephen Cherry
The 2019 Queen's Foundation Lecture was given by Revd Dr Stephen Cherry, Dean of Kings College, Cambridge, on Monday 13th May 2019 at 7pm at Bournville Parish Church, Birmingham.
The title of the lecture was: 'Is Forgiveness the Answer? Reflections on Living Well after Violence, Abuse or Violence'.
Dr Cherry is active in the fields of Christian spirituality and practical theology. Since 2014 he has been Dean of King’s College Cambridge where he is responsible for the worshiping life of that community and Director of studies for students studying Theology and Religion. Recent among Dr Cherry’s publications are The Archbishop of Canterbury’s 2011 Lent Book, Barefoot Disciple: Walking the Way of Passionate Humility (Bloomsbury 2011), Beyond Busyness: Time Wisdom for Ministry (Sacristy 2012), The DarkSide of the Soul: An Insider's Guide to the Web of Sin (Bloomsbury 2016) and God-Curious: Exploring Eternal Questions (Jessica Kingsley 2017)
