BA in Theology, Ministry & Mission (QDL)
The BA in Theology, Ministry and Mission is an expansive and robust degree program which complements what you will have studied at Certificate and Diploma levels, but with added focus and academic rigour. It will enable you to engage critically with theological ideas and contribute to meaningful discussions about faith and discipleship.
In the first year of the BA, you will deepen your study of the New Testament, Christian Doctrine and Christian Ministry. In the second year, you will reflect on your own Christian Practice and research for your Dissertation, an opportunity to study in depth a theological topic of your own choice. The final year of BA study will offer you more choice to shape your own programme based on what excites you most about theology. You can choose from the range of modules offered below. This is also the year in which you will work on your dissertation (or an independent learning project) where you will shape your own question and delve more deeply into an area that really interests you. To support you in completing this you will have access to the guidance of a supervisor who knows the area you want to work in. This programme could also be taken over 6 years on a part-time basis.
Further details on the modules offered at each level can be found on the pages for Certificate in Higher Education, Diploma of Higher Education HE.
