Research Activity

The lively research culture at Queen’s is expressed and accessed in many different ways. Here you can find some of them.

Individual members of staff and students are research active in a variety of ways – through publications, attendance at conferences, public lectures, research symposia and so on, and through involvement in research projects. Our Research Newsletter gives regular reports and updates on individual staff and student research activity, publications, conference papers and so on. Our regular Queen’s research seminars offer students, staff and honorary research fellows the opportunity to engage with an exciting range of research papers and to participate in stimulating scholarly discourse. In addition, Queen’s hosts the Symposium on the Faith Lives of Women and Girls, a network of qualitative researchers doing fieldwork in this area. Individual members of staff are engaged in a variety of research projects, such as the Common Awards project on 'God and Study Skills', or the 'Faith' Beyond the Congregation? project.
