Circuit-based Learning Pathway
The Circuit-based Learning Pathway (CBLP) is a full-time pathway, beginning usually in the second year of the overall programme. It is a programme to which students may be provisionally allocated and is available to those who start on either the full-time or the part-time pathway. CBLP enables student ministers to learn in two different contexts: student ministers are based in a Circuit for a proportion of the week and based at Queen’s (or involved in their Queen's-focused studies) for another part of the week. Experience, learning and reflection in both these contexts are woven together. (Confirmation of a provisional allocation to this pathway depends on being able to find a suitable Circuit context.)
Further information about the pathway is available on the 'Training Pathways document' available here (document G8 in relation to candidating for ministry) on the Methodist Church website.
